This Weekend

We were pretty busy this weekend. We spent most of Saturday catching up on some long overdue cleaning and organizing. We actually made it to early church (a few minutes late) and after Sunday School we went out for lunch with the Greens. They had never been to Kobe steakhouse so we wanted to introduce them to it. Our kids had seemed to like it and I thought theirs would too. Well, Emma is more timid than my daredevils and was pretty concerned about the fire and the noise. Audrey then felt the need to be afraid, since her best friend was. They spent most of the time with their hands over their ears and pushed back from the table so they wouldn't get burned!
Even Henry, who seemed to enjoy it last time, wasn't as thrilled today. In fact the only kid that did seem to enjoy it was Ethan, Brett and Ange's 2 year old. He pretended to chop and slice with this plastic toddler utensils. The hit of the restaurant was the giant fish in the lobby.
